We are a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing all women affected by all types of trauma with support, help, and empowerment to improve their health, well-being, financial status and living conditions, so they can become agents of change and role models in their homes and communities.

Community Meeting: Let’s talk about Project Marvel.
Join us on August 11 at St. Michael’s Church (418 Indiana) from 6:30–8PM to learn how this development could impact Denver Heights—and what the upcoming August 14 bond vote means for our neighborhood. We’re coming together to share information, answer questions, and help our community stay informed and engaged.
Discussion led by:
• Phyliss McNair, President, Dignowity Neighborhood Association
• Ruben Arcineiga, Community Advocate, Poderosa Rising
• Sandra Louis, Longtime Denver Heights Resident & Neighborhood
Let’s stay connected, informed, and ready to shape our future—together.

We’re proud to share our 2024 Impact Report, a reflection of the healing, growth, and empowerment made possible through your support. This year, Poderosa Rising served 286 women, hosted 25 free community events, and provided 75 women with access to free therapy through our partnership with BetterHelp. We launched our first Economic Empowerment Cohort, graduated 8 participants, and expanded our reach to over 121,000 people through social media. From collective wellness events to trauma-informed care and financial literacy, every program is rooted in our mission to uplift women and strengthen communities.
